This Privacy Policy explains how Jamii Apps (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use the mobile application.
By using Jamii Apps, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Jamii Apps is a government digital super-app that helps citizens access linked public services (mini-apps) from one place, including services such as NaPA (National Physical Addressing), Jamii Pocket, and Jamii Pass–related experiences.

When you sign in with Jamii Pass (OIDC), we may receive and store profile information associated with your government digital identity, which can include:
The App may request precise or approximate location so that location-enabled mini-apps (for example NaPA / Visit Tanzania features) can show nearby places, directions, or local services. You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings.
Limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and connectivity may be processed to operate and support the App. We do not currently use third-party advertising SDKs or commercial analytics trackers in the Jamii Apps shell.
Linked mini-apps (for example NaPA or Jamii Pocket) may collect additional personal data under their own notices when you use those services. This Policy covers the Jamii Apps host application.
We do not sell your personal information.

We use reasonable measures including encrypted secure storage for tokens and HTTPS for government service communication. Protect your device with a screen lock and do not share Jamii Pass credentials.
Jamii Apps is intended for general public use of government services and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
